DU admissions begin

The rush for admissions at the Delhi University began today.

The common pre-admission forms can be availed both online and offline till the 18th of this month for General and Other Backward Cast candidates.

Informing this in New Delhi, the Dean of Students’ Welfare, Dr. J M Khurana said the forms will be available at head post offices and at ten colleges of the university.

He said for Scheduled Castes Cast and Scheduled Tribe candidates, four centers have been marked to accept their registrations.

Dr. Khurana said the aspiring candidates in the reserved category are required to register themselves at the Arts Faculty in the North and South campuses, Rajdhani College and Shyam Lal College.

The candidates in the Physically Handicapped category can register themselves at the office of the Dean, Students Welfare.

He said the first cut off list will be displayed by the colleges on the 26th followed by similar lists on the 29th of this month, 3rd July, 6th July and 10th July.

AIR correspondent reports that the university offers around 54 thousand seats in over 60 colleges spread across the national capital.
