Drug haul case: Police quiz Boxer Vijender Singh

Punjab Police on Monday questioned Boxer Vijender Singh in connection with drug haul case. Sources say that the boxer was interrogated in Panchkula.

Earlier, denying any links to the case, Vijender had said that he is ready to join investigations at any point of time and also ready to undergo any kind of dope test.

History sheeter Paramjit Singh has also been brought from Tihar jail to Punjab for investigation in the Rs. 130 crore drug haul case. He is said to be an important link to reach upto the kingpin of this international drug racket, Arjuna Awardee wrestler, Jagdish Bhola.

Police sources reveal that raids are on at Bhola’s suspected hideouts and police is quite close to nab him.

Meanwhile, Fatehgarh Sahib District Police Chief, Hardyal Singh Mann, told AIR Jalandhar Correspondent that Look out Circular (LoC) has already been issued and all the airports have been alerted across the country so that Bhola should not sneak out of India.

He is the key to crack this sensational case which allegedly involves the Olympian Vijender Singh.
