He informed that the Indian Agriculture Research Institute has developed the drought-resistant and salinity-tolerant rice strain by genome-editing technology and a budget of 98.05 lakh rupees has been sanctioned for the same.<br />''<br />'' He further informed that the Ministry of Environment and Department of Biotechnology have given the relevant sanctions for the filed evaluation during the Kharif 2024.</span><br />
