The possibility of decade’s worst drought is looming large on Gujarat, following deficient rainfall during the current monsoon. Kutch and Saurashtra are the worst-affected area, which had recorded scanty rainfall.

The State Government has started process to officially declare the draught affected areas to make arrangements for drinking water, fodder and employment.
