In Pakistan, at least four persons were killed today in a drone attack in the North Waziristan tribal area. According to local TV channels, three missiles were fired at a vehicle in Dattakhel area near Miranshah, the centre town of North Waziristan. Waziristan is the home to Taliban leaders Hakimullah Mehsood, Hafiz Gul Bahadur and Mulla Nazir. Since a suicide attack killed seven CIA employees in December, U.S. drone attacks have tremendously increased in the volatile Waziristan tribal region.
