The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has seized over 15 crore rupees in demonetised notes near the Jhandewalan metro station in New Delhi. The seizure of banned 1000 rand 500 rupee notes took place yesterday at a residential premises near the metro station. A senior DRI official said, ten people have been arrested in the case. The accused are businessmen dealing in real estate, jewellery and trading among others.
