DRDO to set up five Medical Oxygen Plants within 1st week of May in & around Delhi

<span style="color: #222222;">Defence Research and Development Organisation is setting-up five Medical Oxygen Plants within the first week of this month in and around Delhi.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">These are to be installed at AIIMS Trauma Centre, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College and one at AIIMS, Jhajjar, Haryana.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As per schedule, two of these plants reached Delhi today and are being installed at AIIMS and RML Hospitals.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In order to tackle the surge in COVID-19 cases and subsequent requirement of oxygen, the DRDO will set up 500 medical oxygen plants across the country within three months under the PM CARES Fund.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The order has been placed for 380 plants and their delivery schedule is being monitored very closely.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The sites are being prepared at each hospital in parallel.</span><br />''  <br />
