The Defence Research and Development Organisation, DRDO, has launched a composite herbal formulation named Perfomax which helps in improving physical and mental performance at Higher Altitudes and Hypoxic Conditions.

Launching the new herbal formulation at a function in Leh, Ladhak, Minister of State for Defence Dr M M Pallam Raju said that the formulation is rich in antioxidants and other bioactive compounds and will help improve the performance of defence personnel working at higher altitudes.

According to an official release issued in New Delhi, the new herbal solution helps enhance the performance of brain, heart, kidney and lungs and also improves blood circulation.

Dr. Pallam Raju called for rigorous extension activities in collaboration with the State Departments to ensure that the agro-animal technologies developed by the DRDO reach the farmers even in the remotest locations.
