DRDO in process of developing Unmanned Arial Vehicles for CRPF to track down maoists

Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO) has said it is in the process of developing Unmanned Arial Vehicles for use by Central Reserve Police Force to track down maoists in naxal hit states including Chattisgarh and Jharkhand.DRDO chief Avinash Chader informed this today while speaking at a press conference on the occassion of ongoing Defence Expo-2014 in New Delhi. He also highlighted the success initiatives undertaken by DRDO to strengthen Country's Defence technology. The main highlights of the expo are unmanned systems and futuristic war machines are the main highlight of the expo. It will continute till 9th of this month.
