India were 385 for six in the first innings of first cricket test against Srilanka at Ahmedabad. Rahul Dravid at 177 and Harbhajan Singh at two were on the crease on the first day today.Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat. Indian skipper M.S.Dhoni scored 110. This his first century against Srilanka. The hosts lost their early four wickets. Virendra Sehwag struck three fours in 11 balls before being trapped leg before while Gautam Gambhir could take only a single run. Sachin Tendulakar made 4 runs only while VVS Laxman was out for a Duck. Yuvraj Singh was bowled by Murlitharan and caught by Dilshan at 68.For Srilanka Chanaka Welegedara took 3 wickets.
