Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram said, there has been dramatic improvement in the security situation in the North-Eastern states. Speaking in various functions held in Senapati District of Manipur today, Mr.Chidambaram said, almost all militant groups in the state are in talks with the government of India.
The Union Home Minister, who arrived today on a two day visit in Manipur, said, all problems, can be resolved through talks.
Mr. P. Chidambaram inaugurated a 50 bed District Hospital, Guest House, Mini-Secretariate and a multipurpose building at Senapati this morning.
Later, the Union Minister inaugurated a Primary Health Centre, Tribal Development Block Office, SDO/SDPO office complex and a Power-Station at Jessami in Ukhrul Distric.
