In Madhya Pradesh, the state cabinet has approved a draft on Madhya Pradesh Special Court Bill 2011 to check corruption in government circles. The bill will be introduced in the upcoming budget session of the state assembly. The bill proposes establishment of special courts for speedy trail of corruption cases in certain categories. The special courts would try to dispose of cases on corruption with in one year. Appeal by the convict against the judgment of the special court could be filed in high court only.
