Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the State Government&nbsp;had informed&nbsp;the Centre of its objection to the draft Environmental Impact Assessment(EIA) Notification 2020 today.<br />''<br />''Mr Vijayan said that the draft will have long term adverse impacts.<br />''<br />''The State&nbsp;had registered its objection of&nbsp;reducing the time for hearing complaints under the new draft and&nbsp; also in the provision related to query permit.<br />''<br />''The Sate&nbsp;suggested to make mandatory environment clearance for query permission of over 2 hectares.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">It was also put forward that the&nbsp;District level Environment Impact committee&nbsp; to be continued and to have&nbsp;discussion before final notification. It was also requested to consider the special condition of Kerala in the draft.</span><br />
