BJP leader Dr. Raman Singh will take oath as Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh for the third consecutive time today. The ceremony will be held at Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur. Many senior BJP leaders including its National President Rajnath Singh and Chief Ministers from many states are expected to present at the ceremony.
Our correspondent elaborate security arrangements have been made for the swearing-in ceremony which will be held at 11 AM. Dr. Raman Singh will become the second such Chief Minister of BJP after Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi who had made a hat-trick of coming back to power. Chhattisgarh is the first state amongst the five gone to poll where the process for formation of government has started.
