Dr. Jitendra Singh stresses on need to create awareness about myths related to nuclear power

<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh has stressed the need to create awareness among people about the  myths related to  nuclear  power. He said<b> </b>such myths  are related to health hazards which  come in the way of setting up of nuclear plants in the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing the 11th Nuclear Energy Conclave in New Delhi today, Dr. Singh emphasized the need to use of modern information technology and social media tools to educate masses about  nuclear energy. He said, there is no medical evidence to prove that nuclear plants have caused any health hazard and Indian plants are very well protected  as utmost precautions have been taken during their establishment.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">   </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister also said the atomic energy is cost-effective and has huge non war applications. He said it should be used to improve the day to day living of the people.  Dr. Singh also highlighted  the initiatives taken by the NDA government to promote atomic energy sector including increasing the budgetary allocations.</span><br />
