Minister of Development for North eastern region Dr. Jitendra Singh, today unveiled a three pronged strategy to spur the growth of bamboo sector making it an attractive business option for youth in the region.<br/><br/>Inaugurating a two day seminar in New Delhi, on bamboo development, the Minister spoke about the problem of youth exodus from north east. He said, the growth of bamboo sector can help youth get employment there. <br/><br/>The three pronged strategy involves setting up of a Brahmaputra study centre, Starting new ventures for youth and setting up a bamboo cell for research on bamboo cultivation.
