Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region, Dr. Jitendra Singh today advised to set up e-office in all eight North Eastern States in a stipulated time frame. Addressing a webinar, Dr. Singh said, e-office project will fulfil the vision of Prime Minister of "Minimum Government, Maximum Governance" and will ensure ease of administration, transparency and citizen-centric delivery mechanism. <br />''<br />''He said, e-office project is an important pillar of Digital India and so far 55 Ministries has implemented it. The Minister has assured all technical and financial support to achieve the e-office mission to be implemented from Civil Secretariat to District level in all the States.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Dr. Singh also announced a Joint Steering Committee for the e-office project. The Committee will suggest measures and implement the e-office project.</span><br />
