The second phase of Local Treatment of Urban Sewage Streams for Healthy Reuse, LOTUS-HR was launched at the Barapullah drain in New Delhi by Union Minister Harsh Vardhan and the visiting Dutch Royal couple this afternoon. <br />''LOTUS-HR is a water laboratory which is jointly supported by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology and Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research. <br />''<br />''The project aims to demonstrate a holistic waste-water management approach that will produce clean water which can be reused for various purposes. <br />''<br />''Talking to media, Dr Harsh Vardhan said it is a great demonstration of what science can do.
