Science and technology minister Dr Harsh Vardhan called upon scientists to contribute significantly to the nation building. Speaking at an international conference in New Delhi, Dr Vardhan said scientists should convert the ideas into reality and try diligently to uplift the living standards of the poorest of the poor. <br/><br/>Highlighting the Prime minister's ambitious target of achieving the 175 GW clean energy by 2022, the minister said it will raise the standards of people those who are working underground in coal mines.
