<span style="color: #222222;">The Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has appealed to all gynaecologists and health activists for a Jan Andolan for preventing maternal deaths. Chairing a high level meeting to review the status of Reproductive, Maternal and Newborn in New Delhi today, Dr Harsh Vardhan stressed on the need to ensure that there are no preventable maternal deaths in the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a vision of a New India where children and pregnant women do not die of preventable causes and people are able to realize their full potential in making Healthy India and Strong India.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Dr. Harsh Vardhan said, the government will make immediate and sustained efforts to ensure zero child deaths due to childhood diarrhoea by 2022. He stated that no child should suffer from vaccine preventable diseases in the country.</span><br />
