Minister for Earth Sciences, Dr Harsh Vardhan today inaugurated the International Council of Academics of Engineering and Technological Sciences Convocation in Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, he said, engineers could do wonders in the areas of energy, transportation, health care, and sustainable development. He said the main challenge for engineers is to make technology affordable to the poor and under privileged.<br/><br/>The Minister added that government would take the suggestions of this conference seriously. He expressed hope that the conference will act as a significant catalyst in ensuring all agreements between participating parties in reaching their logical end.
