Democratic Peoples Front (DPF) led by Tamil leader Mano Ganeshan has announced conditional support of his party to the commander-turned-politician, retired General Sarath Fonseka during the President elections.However, he also said that he is in positive consultation with the pro-LTTE Tamil National Alliance (TNA) on the possibility of fielding a Tamil candidate in the election fray.Mano Ganeshan addressing a press conference on Thursday said that the 18-party United National Front (UNF) led by former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe could soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sarath Fonseka outlining the common agenda.The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has yet to reveal its stance for the Presidential election.
