In Bihar, over one dozen passengers were injured when Kolkota bound Ganga Sagar express collided with the derailed bogies of the Barauni -Gwalior Mail near Korbadha village on Samastipur- Baruni section of the East – Central railway last night. The Spokesperson of ECR Dilip Kumar told AIR that two passengers were seriously injured in the accident .The driver of the Ganga Sagar express was also injured. They have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment. Rail traffic on Barauni- Samastipur section had been paralysed following the mishap. Efforts are on to restore the traffic on this section.
