On Wall Street, the Dow Jones industrial average surpassed 19,000 for the first time, yesterday, as a post-election rally drove indexes further. So the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 67 points, or 0.4 percent, to close at a fresh record high of 19,024.The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 5 points, or 0.2 percent, to a record high of 2,203. And the Nasdaq composite gained 17 points, or 0.3 percent, to also close at a record high of 5,386.
