He said that the all-weather road project is about to be completed and that the Kumaon area would be connected to Dehradun and Haridwar by four-lane highways and expressways. She said if voted to power employment opportunities will be created, inflation will be reigned in and health services will be improved in remote areas.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Union Home Minister Amit Shah said today that the work of the Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail line project is being completed in Uttarakhand at a cost of 16 thousand crores and the construction work of the Tanakpur-Bageshwar rail line project will also start soon. Addressing a public meeting in Dhanaulti today, Mr. Shah said that the BJP government has announced that the ropeway will start between Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib soon. Mr. Shah said that after the Kedarnath disaster, no work was done by the Congress government He said that the&nbsp; BJP government got Kedarnath reconstructed at a cost of Rs.400 crores. He informed that the reconstruction work of Badrinath is being done with an expenditure of Rs 450 crores. The Union Home Minister said that the BJP government at the centre has sent about 20 lakh crore rupees to the homes of army personnel by implementing One Rank One Pension. The ex-servicemen of Uttarakhand have benefited the most from this decision.
