Double decker busses will start plying again on Kolkata roads from Sunday. This follows West Bengal Government's decision to re-introduce the service in Kolkata and adjoining Salt Lake area. State Transport Minister Madan Mitra said, the service is reintroduced to meet the public demand. Mitra said that, double-decker bus services are linked with the city’s old tradition and it will be gradually extended to the other parts of the state.
