The last rites of former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu are being performed at his residence at Sherpudung in Tawang on Tuesday morning. Dorjee Khandu and four other persons were killed in a chopper crash in Tawang on the 30th of last month. The state government has accorded state funeral to the departed leader. The last rites will be performed as per Monpa traditions. Arunachal's new Chief Minister Jarbom Gamlin, his Cabinet colleagues and a host of Union Ministers and senior Congress leaders are in Tawang to attend the funderal.
