Over 100 Central Government pensioners have enthusiastically participated in a camp organized to familiarize the Face Authentication and Jeevan Pramaan App and expressed pleasure and satisfaction at the introduction of this new technology. <br />''<br />''The special camp has been held by a team of officials from the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DOPPW) at the main branch of the State Bank of India in Hyderabad on Wednesday. <br />''<br />''The pensioners have been guided on the procedure for downloading the Face Authentication Jeevan Pramaan App in their mobile phones and giving Life Certificates from their phones. <br />''<br />''The members of the registered Pensioners' Association, "General Offices Pensioners' Association" attended the camp to learn the process and spread the message. <br />''<br />''The Life Certificate is observed to have generated within 60 seconds and a link sent on the mobile phone from where the same can be downloaded. <br />''<br />''This is a milestone leap into the Digital world taken by the DOPPW. Earlier the pensioners used to queue up outside banks to give their life certificates.  Now, the same has been made possible at the click of a button from the comfort of their home.<br />''<br />''The central officials' team has requested all the pensioners to visit the official youtube channel of the department – DOPPW_INDIA OFFICIAL where two videos in Hindi and English have been uploaded explaining the process of submitting the Life Certificate through Authentication Technique in simple language.<br />
