Doordarshan to bring its rich archival products to general public

Doordarshan will very soon bring its rich archival products to the general public under Public Private Partnership model. Doordarshan Director General Aruna Sharma revealed this to media in Hyderabad today. She said, Doordarshan has already identified 2000 hours of programmes for marketing under the PPP modal and finalisation of tenders would be completed by 10th of next month. Stating that the archives of Music, Dance, Talks, Serials and other programmes of Doordarshna has market potential, she said the aim was to make available these programmes to common public at an affordable price. She said overseas marketing will be given thrust under the PPP model.<br/>
