Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni has stressed the need to eliminate the practice of misusing media ownership for personal gains.<br/><br/>In an interview to Doordarshan, she said a few such incidents have come to the notice. Referring to the spate of proposals for fresh news channels and newspapers she said a committee has been set up to enquire about their status.
