The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has advised all its<br/><br/>affiliated schools not to maltreat any child or parent in the name of enforcing discipline. In the advisory CBSE chairman Vineet Joshi said that the schools need to be aware of the sensitive and impressionable nature of minds of school children. He also asked schools to ensure that all students, irrespective of their differences in physical, social, economic status or by their being differently baled are dealt with in a dignified manner. CBSE issued this advisory after several incident of harassment of students by teacher across the country.<br/><br/> The advisory further states that schools are ideological institutions and not factories so children must be treated as sensitive individuals,who need to be protected at any cost.
