The Government today asserted that it would bring a strong Lokpal Bill to curb corruption in the Country. Law Minister Salman Khurshid said that Team Anna should not make the Bill a matter of ego. Speaking to reporters outside Parliament, He said Team Anna should wait for the Cabinet to come up with the final draft instead of making issues from non-issues.

Senior NCP leader and Heavy Industries Minister Praful Patel said people were with the UPA, which is taking effective steps to curb corruption. Replying to a question on Team Anna's impact on masses, Mr. Patel said it was being blown out of proportion.
