Leaders from across the Muslim world have applauded US President Donald Trump's call for unity in the fight against terrorism. Saudi Arabian King, Salman bin Abdulaziz, said he shared with Trump a will to push for constructive cooperation to reject extremism and work on fighting all forms of terrorism. Leaders from Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia and other countries also stressed the importance of battling terrorism and expressed support for Trump in their speeches. <br/><br/>Trump addressed the leaders of over 50 Islamic-majority nations at a summit in Saudi Arabia yesterday. He said terror attacks by the Islamic State militant group and other Islamic extremist groups have occurred around the world. He stressed that a united effort is necessary to eradicate terrorism. Trump said the path to peace begins in the Middle East, and that the United States is prepared to fight alongside the countries in the region.
