<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of Coal and Mines Prahlad Joshi today informed the Rajya Sabha that the domestic coal supply has increased from 572 Million Tonnes in 2013-14 to 734 Million Tonnes in 2018-19.<br />''<br />''Replying to questions raised by various members, the Minister said, the coal import by power plants has reduced from 80.56 Million Tonnes in 2015-16 to 61.55 Million Tonnes in 2018-19.<br />''<br />''He also said that Cal and Coke are under Open General License as per import policy of the Government and are imported by traders and consuming industries as per their requirement.</span><br />
