Domestic air passenger traffic grew by more than 13 per cent in October with airlines carrying more than 45 lakh passengers during the month as against over 40 lakh carried in September. However, the number of passengers carried by the domestic carriers between January to October this year fell by over two per cent compared to the same period last year.
An official release said, 484 lakh passengers were carried between January to October this year as against more than 496 lakh during the corresponding period of the previous year.
