The Government today said that it is making all efforts to boost micro and medium enterprises in the North Eastern states. Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia is convening a meeting with the stakeholders in this regard.Home Minister P Chidambaram on Friday said that most of the North-Eastern region was conflict-free and nearly all separatist groups in the region were in talks with the Government. He said that Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Arunanchal Pradesh and most parts of Assam were conflict free.
