<br/>A team of 27 doctors successfully separated 18 month old twins who were joined at the waist at a private hospital in New Delhi. The twins hailing from Bihar underwent a complicated at Batra hospital and Medical Research centre.<br/><br/>In a marathon surgical procedure, doctors separated a common waist including shared genital, urinary and intestinal system. Speaking to AIR, the hospital's CEO, Dr Sanjeev Bagai said the sisters have been successfully separated and are recovering well in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
