Doctors across Maharashtra participate in nationwide bandh called by IMA

<span style="color: #222222;">Many doctors of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) across Maharashtra participated in the nationwide bandh. The bandh was called by the Indian Medical Association today demanding revocation of permission given by the central government to Ayurveda doctors for performing surgeries.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In Mumbai, outpatient services of municipal and private hospitals remained closed from 6 am to 6 pm. Doctors at the municipal hospitals could be seen wearing black ribbons. While homeopathy doctors were seen wearing pink ribbons to welcome the Central government's decision.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Many private medical professionals in Washim district have closed their outpatient departments till 6 pm. Also, the presence of doctors in government and municipal hospitals was low. In Dhule too, dispensaries, clinics and OPD services remained closed from 6 am to 6 pm. Doctors of the Dental Medical Association staged a protest in the Dhule city.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">However, COVID care facilities and other emergency medical services remained unaffected in the State.</span><br />''
