Do not occupy schools for operations: HRD Min to security forces

M Pallam Raju said that occupation of schools by security forces in Naxal-affected districts, has been one of the reasons for the extremists targeting educational institutions. Mr Raju said this while addressing the National Consultation on Education in Areas Affected by Civil Strife, organised by UNICEF in New Delhi yesterday. He said that clear-cut instructions have been issued to the states to ensure that no school building is used or occupied by the security forces.
