The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is going to provide consultancy services for the construction of a high speed rail corridor in Kerala between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod. According to Delhi Metro,a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed in New Delhi between DMRC and Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation and DMRC. As per the MoU, the DMRC will provide its consultancy for conducting a pre feasibility study for the establishment of this 550 kilometre long rail corridor.
