The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has started full trial runs on the 12 and half kilometre long Central Secretariat to Qutub Minar Metro corridor in New Delhi. <br/><br/>The response of the train at different speeds, braking of the train and the interconnection with the Operations Control Centre will also be monitored during the trials. The behaviour of the track system and the Over Head Electrification will be checked repeatedly. <br/><br/>Delhi Metro spokesman said that the trial runs will continue for a few weeks and the corridor is expected to be opened for the public next month after attaining the statutory safety clearances. Over one lakh people are expected to use this corridor everyday.<br/>
