Mohammedjan, a member of the AIADMK this year.<br />''<br />'' The by-poll was to be conducted on September 13. As there was no other candidate, M.M Abdullah was nominated without election. Abdullah hails from Tirumaiyam, Pudukkottai district. He was a DMK Youth wing functionary and was appointed as the joint secretary of the Party's NRI wing in January this year.</span><br />
