In Tamil Nadu, the youth wing of the ruling DMK has staged demonstration in district headquarters throughout the state on Wednesday protesting against the AIADMK general secretary Ms. Jayalalitha. The demonstration was organised to condemn Ms. Jayalalitha seeking frequent adjournments in the disproportionate assets case, which is on in a Bengaluru court. Senior party leaders, functionaries and hundreds of party workers participated in the demonstrations. AIR Chennai correspondent reports, the special court in Bengaluru is to commence trial in the case on Friday after turning down Jayalalithaa's appeal for fresh translation of documents relating to the wealth case.
