In Tamil Nadu, the opposition DMK organised human chain against demonetisation move by the Centre. For the Party, this is considered to be the first ever major demonstration organized state-wide after the recent Assembly General Election. The Party leaders said they oppose to the continuing sufferings of commoners due to demonetisation.<br/><br/>At Purasawakkam in Chennai, the Party treasurer and opposition leader in the state Assembly MK Stalin led the human chain. In all major cities and towns, the Party cadres formed long chains to register their opposition to the cash crunch.
