The DMK has offered its support to the nationwide demonstration against demonetization move scheduled to be held on 28th of this month. <br/><br/>The Party organized an hour-long human chain in all cities and towns across Tamil Nadu this evening. At Purasawakkam in Chennai, the party treasurer MK Stalin led the demonstration. <br/><br/>Later, addressing the press, he said the Centre should have readied sufficient stocks of Rs 100 and new Rs 500 notes before scrapping the old high denomination notes. He remarked that commoners are being subjected to prolonged miseries due to the move.
