The ruling DMK in Tamilnadu has nominated Dr.Kanimozhi Somu and KRN Rajesh Kumar for Rajya Sabha. The seats were vacated due to the resignation of AIADMK members K.P.Munusamy and V.Vaithyalingam who got elected for the State Assembly.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">Dr.Kanimozhi is a senior gynaecologist and the daughter of late Union Minister of State for Defence N.V.N.
