<span style="color: #222222;">DMK member Annadurai of Tiruvannamalai constituency today demanded train connectivity between Chennai and Tiruvannamalai. Raising the issue during the Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha, Mr. Annadurai said that the Arunachaleshwar Temple which attracts lakhs of pilgrims throughout the year does not have proper train connectivity. He also said the Puducherry- Howrah Express Train that passes through Tiruvannamalai doesn't halt there.<br />''<br />''The progress of the broad-gauge railway line from Tindivanam to Tiruvannamalai is very slow-paced. He also said that the railway station is not maintained properly, and urged the minister of railways to introduce intercity express train between Chennai and Tiruvannamalai in the upcoming General Budget.</span><br />
