Top brass of DMK are meeting in Chennai this evening to discuss poll alliance and party manifesto. Party President Karunanidhi is presiding over the high level Action Committee meeting. Earlier the DMK Chief expressed his displeasure over the constantly rising demands of the Congress. In a statement released he said Congress had earlier agreed to 60 seats but now Congress 63 and the constituencies of its choice. He said an appropriate decision will be taken at the DMK's high-level action committee meeting to be held later today. Meanwhile, AIADMK has offered 41 seats to the Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam – DMDK – led by actor Vijayakant as part of its alliance in the Assembly elections on April 13. The actor met the AIADMK Chief Jayalaithaa at her residence and finalised the deal last night. Left parties and Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam – MDMK and other major parties in the AIADMK front, are still continuing their talks on seat-sharing.
