The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and the DMK chief Mr. M Karunanidhi today announced the alliance with Pattali Makkal Katchi, PMK, in the forthcoming assembly elections. Speaking to newsmen in Chennai, Mr Karunanidhi said that the PMK would be allotted 40 seats. Replying to a query, he said that the Congress has no objection to the alliance.
