In Uttar Pradesh the district magistrate and Superintendent of police of curfew hit Bareilly district have been transferred. 44 senior administrative officers including 14 IAS and 43 IPS officers are affected in a major administrative and police administrative set up reshuffle.Quoting official sources our Allahabad correspondent reports that the government has also removed Chairman cum managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Power Cooperation Avinish Awasthi. He has been kept on waiting. Nine district magistrates of Banda, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bareilly, Unnao, Balrampur, Shrawasti, Kasganj, Auriya and Hapud have also been changed.In this major administrative reshuffle IGs of Agra, Varanasi and Gorakhpur, DIGs of Meerut, Kanpur and Lucknow and district police chiefs of 13 districts including Lucknow, Allahabad, Bareilly, Moradabad, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Fatehpur, Jalaun, Kanshiram Nagar, Deoria, Siddharth Nagar and Etawah have also been changed. Superintendent of Police Kumbh Mela has also been replaced. Mr. RKS Rathore will be new SP Kumbh Mela.
